Beef Sirloin

Also known as New York strips, these 200g Bass Strait sirloin steaks are the best combination of meat and fat on the cap in a cut of beef.

The trick to cooking these juicy cuts is to make sure you cook the cap till all the good fat seeps out into the pan.

Lightly season and straight into a hot skillet, and cook to your liking. Cover and let it rest for 5 mins, then let it rest covered.

Bob loves his with a delicious mushroom or red wine sauce! Simply throw some garlic, salt & pepper and sliced mushrooms in the same skillet, sauté and then add either cooking cream or red wine. Step back and watch the magic happen while the sauce reduces to become the best sauce you have ever had!
